WeLcOmE To OuR FaNciFuL GaRdEn ToUr, MaD TeA PARTy aNd GivEaWay!!!

Welcome Friends!

Come on in, let me show you around.

All the flowers are in bloom.

In many beautiful shapes and colors.

The rain we've had lately has kept them dancing.

Even the trees are full and lush.

It's the perfect setting for a tea party.

But not just any ol' tea party.

A MaD tEa PaRtY!!!

Wait...What is...WHO is that?!

Could it be....
Let's take a closer look and see.

But much to my dismay, he disappeared in a poof of smoke!

In his place there were two beautiful butterflies.

Do you see them?
I think they have gone to explore. I do hope they will return.
Maybe for a spot of tea.

It's a lovely setting and there is fresh blackberry sage tea waiting for us.

Would you like cream and sugar with your tea?

How about a tasty cupcake?

Oh my, there are red velvet cupcakes, Boston cream pie cupcakes, minty chocolate chip cupcakes, chocolate fudge cupcakes, and black forrest cupcakes.

* Decisions...Decisions...Decisions *

How about one of each!

While deciding on a cupcake or three, guess who came back to join us?

It's the butterflies! They seem to be lost.

They just whispered to me that they are not lost. But, they are looking for a new home!

These two are hand made butterflies sewn from muslin with a bit of batting for a quilted appearance and then painted in acrylics.
These can be a special accent to a handmade quilt or a hanging decoration near a window so they can flow in the breeze.
These two beautiful butterflies are my GIVEAWAY!

All you have to do is leave me a comment below and you will be entered to win.
Two people will be chosen at random and the winners will be announced on Sunday July 21st.
Please leave me an e-mail address so that I can get a hold of you if you are a winner.
If I cannot get a hold of you by July 28th a new winner will be chosen, until the butterflies both find good homes.

ALSO, I will be announcing ANOTHER GIVEAWAY in the next couple of months so be sure to sign up to follow my blog, using the widgets on the right.

In the meantime, make sure you visit Ms. Vanessa Valencia, our Fabulous Fanciful Blog Mad Tea Party Queen Hostess. Here is the link: A Fanciful Twist  there you will find the list of other parties to visit.

~Sylvia~

  3. Oooooh! Your flowers are so pretty, especially the Hydrangeas. Sadly, I've been unable to grow them in my zone 10. It's too hot and moist here.

Anyway, lovely tea setting and thanks for sharing your magic with me. Drop by my party when you have a free moment. :)

  7. I am so glad you said I could try one of each. There was not room in my pocketbook to hold them all, and hide them away. Plus I was far too tempted to wait and taste them in private!

  38. I'm so glad you still had cupcakes left! Not that I need any more cupcakes, mind you. I'm so roly-poly right now after visiting so many mad tea parties. But one more cupcake never hurt anyone! It's wonderful to see butterflies flying around your party. Butterflies are becoming more scarce these days. I do so hope one lands right on my nose! Mad people are especially fond of butterflies on their noses. Of course, I'm sure you already know that. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!
