I'm just popping in to share some very exciting news!

My Day of the Dead Bride is the cover girl for this Autumn's edition of ART DOLL QUARTERLY!

I am still in disbelief that the editor and staff chose her for the cover.  There are always so many magnificent pieces by uber talented artists to choose from. 

I am so very grateful!

These will be out August 1st at your local news stand, Barnes and Noble Bookstores, Michaels, etc. However, you can also preorder your copy directly from Stampington & Company.

New Catrina Day of the Dead Primavera Doll

New Catrina Day of the Dead Primavera Doll.  Just in time for this months PFATT Marketplace. 

She is a one of a kind cloth and clay doll that is up for grabs when the PFATT Marketplace updates this Saturday 3/10 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.

Miss Catrina Primavera is a tall slender lady.  She is 21 1/2 inches tall and carries a Rosca (A traditional DOD bread/pastry).  Her dress is made of a Papel Picado pattern also a traditional DOD decoration.  These decorations typically hang in someones home like streamers only they are very detailed cut out images on tissue paper.  Her outfit also incorporates antique trims and lace to give her a vintage old world feel. 

Her arms are posable and she stands in a doll stand (included) or she can sit on a shelf if you prefer. 

After her photo shoot all she can do is dream about her new home.

NEW Day of the Dead, Dia De Los Muertos Catrina Ornies & Pumpkinella Witch for PFATT Marketplace Update on 8/10/11

Hi Everyone! I'm pleased to offer these two little ladies, Violeta & Ofelia, on tomorrows 

PFATT MARKETPLACE

These two Catrina ornies are stuffed muslin, needle sculpted, painted and antiqued.  They both have black wool roving hair and their hair is decorated with tiny paper roses.  

The PFATT Marketplace updates tomorrow 8/10/11 at 10 A.M. Pacific Time, Noon Central Time, and 1 P.M. Eastern Time.

Also offered tomorrow on the PFATT  Marketplace is Miss Pumpkinella Witch on a broomstick ride glowing in the moonlight.  This is my first painting on canvas.  I hope my offerings this month bring a smile to your face. : )
