Welcome, my name is Sylvia Smiser. I am a self taught artist. I enjoy creating one of a kind art dolls and sculpted figures. Vintage Halloween styled artwork and Dia de los Muertos art dolls is what comes naturally to me and what I am most passionate about creating. I am a proud member of the wonderful art groups EHAG (Eclectic Halloween Artists Guild) and PFATT (Primitive Folk Art Talk & Tea). I am a participating artist at Ghoultide Gathering. I am honored to have been published in Art Doll Quarterly, Dolls magazine, Somerset Studio Gallery and Celebrate 365 Magazine. I am also a Physical Therapist and Mama to 15 year old Boy/Girl Twins. My husband is a wonderful man who is very supportive of my art and together with our two doggy fur kids we make one happy, busy family.

Happy Sunday Everyone! 
It's my birthday today, a day I share with famous musicians like Elvis and David Bowie. 
It's a day for fun, rest, and relaxation. 
Or I may just organize that closet I've been meaning to get to. 
I am so full of joy right now.  My husband and my twins have let me sleep in today and I got a wonderful breakfast made for me this morning. I also got a sculpting DVD set I have been wanting from my hubby. Then I visit facebook and I am overwhelmed by all the wonderful Birthday wishes!  Today I also found out I was one of the lucky winners of Carolee Clark's giveaway so I will be receiving a lucky birthday gift from her this week!
I am feeling so fortunate that I would like to host a Birthday Giveaway!

    OMG I saw this little witch, and she's so full of love that I just fell in love with her. Not that I don't love ALL your work, but I have a thing for witches. In fact, my entire kitchen is done in orange and black for halloween... year round. I'm an artist too, but not as established as you. Would LOVE to win this piece.... and am thankful too for the chance to wish you HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
