About Me

My photo
Welcome, my name is Sylvia Smiser. I am a self taught artist. I enjoy creating one of a kind art dolls and sculpted figures. Vintage Halloween styled artwork and Dia de los Muertos art dolls is what comes naturally to me and what I am most passionate about creating. I am a proud member of the wonderful art groups EHAG (Eclectic Halloween Artists Guild) and PFATT (Primitive Folk Art Talk & Tea). I am a participating artist at Ghoultide Gathering. I am honored to have been published in Art Doll Quarterly, Dolls magazine, Somerset Studio Gallery and Celebrate 365 Magazine. I am also a Physical Therapist and Mama to 15 year old Boy/Girl Twins. My husband is a wonderful man who is very supportive of my art and together with our two doggy fur kids we make one happy, busy family.

*WeLcoMe! OnE * AnD ALL +o A FaNciFuL * MaDd TeA PaRtY* AnD : ) GiVeAwAY!

This was such a Mad Hectic Week that I had gone to sleep thinking that participating in this year's Mad Tea Party was going to be out of the question.  I was so sad and disappointed. (Sigh)
***
Then a magical thing happened!
I woke up from a deep and tired slumber to a Wonderful sight!
I couldn't believe my eyes!
In fact I rubbed them twice then thrice

The mysterious garden fairies set up a magical tea party just for us!

As I got closer I saw all the deliciousness before me.

And What a gorgeous MaD Quilt!
Those sweet little fairies sure were busy last night!

Triple layer cakes and Thistleberry Tea! YUM!!!

Chocolate dipped pretzel wands!

Strawberry Cupcakes with chocolate drizzle...Oh My!

And tasty watermelon cookies too!
WoW, what a treat!

They even hung the tea party garland I was working on and sprinkled it with fairy magic!

"I do hope you will join me for a spot of tea!" said Miss Pink

"It's the perfect temperature", piped up Timmy the Tea Cup.

"And Oh so delicious", chuckles Mrs. Periwinkle.

***
Thank you for stopping by my Mad Tea PartY, I hope you had a Magical time!

I wouldn't want one drop of tea to fall on it...nor one crumb of cake. But what fun I had on this quilt; sipping and munching under those fairy lighted tea pots on the garland. I had a difficult time leaving this cozy spot. *smiles* Norma
